this is where I publish my experiments with automated architecture, design, and drawing. click a box below!
each system asks you to create something through a few specific inputs, and then it e-mails you the results. (after a bit of work) it will also attach any relevant scripts/files if you want to tinker on your own.
very much a proof-of-concept right now. but, I believe the "smarter" computers will figure out everything -- up to, and beyond, architecture. some day.
if they can already do
[ this ], why not space?
maybe you believe what they simulate isn’t real.
but
[ if you can’t tell the difference, does it matter? ]
all projects are free software and shared on my

designing open systems,
instead of static objects,
undermines the authority of the architect in architecture.
the last word on (design)
no longer belongs to (the designer)
if we design patterns and parameters for space,
and if we let users fill in the blanks,
the designed product is a debate, not an imposition.
so language becomes critical:
do I need to articulate my concept for a
"domestic mutation"
to know what I need in my home?
automation is the tool for persistent translation.
participation, "subversive" or not, shapes environment,
so why limit creation to the architect?
we can be diplomats instead of dictators!
